30 Day Book Challenge.
Day 2-Least Favorite book. 13 Reasons Why by Jay Asher

I feel like I’m the only one in this world that hates this book. This book made me roll my eyes and throw it across the room so many times. So basically, it’s about a girl who kills herself. And suicide is a very touchy subject, so I have to acknowledge Jay Asher for trying to raise awareness. Good on him, but this is more about the story. Hannah, kills herself for some of the most annoying reasons ever. One reason is because she was voted for having the hottest ass in her grade? What? I know that everyone reacts differently and not everyone is as strong as some but this book made me so angry. And the fact that it makes people who are suicidal look like complete maniacs and assholes because Hannah is blaming everyone for her suicide when basically suicidal people hate themselves and only blame themselves. I know, I said this before, that not everyone is the same but this book..I just can’t. But Jay Asher raised awareness so I guess that’s good and this book has made people think so I’m glad for that. I just can’t stand it and it makes me cringe. Sorry if you loved it. I’m just doing the book challenge and I saw the two sides so love me lol.
